Virtual 2022 Infrastructure Roundtable

How will money from the recently enacted federal infrastructure bill be spent in Pennsylvania? What does the future hold for autonomous vehicle technology? Get answers about the future of infrastructure and what it means for business and jobs in the Commonwealth at the PA Chamber’s virtual 2022 Infrastructure Roundtable on Thursday, Jan. 20.

The program, “Bridges, Autonomous Trucks and Cars, 5G and Broadband” will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and will kick off with PennDOT Secretary Yassmin Gramian, who will share the following exciting updates:

  • Details on the agency’s new initiatives that impact the business community;
  • An update on Public/Private Partnerships to repair structurally deficient bridges; and
  • How PennDOT is readying the Commonwealth’s roads for the autonomous vehicles of the future.

The roundtable agenda also features insights from industry leaders who are paving the way toward a future with autonomous vehicles.  Argo AI, Aurora and FedEx (invited) will share how close we are to making this technology a reality and what businesses need to do to prepare to utilize this form of transportation.  Another critical component of infrastructure – broadband and 5G – will be highlighted with AT&T discussing its importance to Pennsylvania’s economic future.
